Terms

Last updated April 22, 2026

The short version

You can use Ghost. Don't do illegal things with it or try to break it. If you pay for a subscription, you can cancel anytime. We provide Ghost as-is and our liability is limited to what you paid us.

Using Ghost

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Ghost on Macs you own or control. You can't resell it, redistribute it, or reverse-engineer it except where the law specifically allows.

Don't use Ghost to do anything illegal, to harm other people, or to attack the Ghost service.

Accounts

Some features (AI summaries, Reflect, sync of telemetry) require an account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, email hello@ghost.fitness.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. We don't prorate or refund partial periods unless we're required to by law.

If a charge looks wrong, email us within 60 days and we'll sort it out.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Using Ghost means you've read it.

Updates

Ghost checks for updates and can install them automatically. We may release new versions, change features, or retire features over time. We'll tell you about anything significant.

Termination

You can stop using Ghost at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we believe your use puts the service or other users at risk. We'll usually give you a heads-up first unless we can't.

As-is, no warranty

Ghost is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghost's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms in a material way, we'll update the date at the top and, if you have an account, send you an email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
